Our Brides stand out from the crowd !
After 14 wonderful years in Hipperholme near Halifax, The Swanky Bride has moved to the beautiful village of Kirkburton near Holmfirth.
Set in the beautiful Holme Valley, film location of ’Last of the summer wine’ it really is the place to visit. The Swanky Bride is set at the bottom of the hill below All Hallows Church whose bells can be heard across the valley.
During your visit you can enjoy afternoon tea at the quirky tea shops, have lunch at The Dyeworks bistro, visit the ’Butterfly Net’ florist , browse Almond and their designer wear for mums and Brides and Dare boutique, pop in at Elizabeth Gayle Milliners and see her amazing hat creations. You can also spend an hour or two of pampering at coco beauty across the road or enjoy a hair trial at Richard Charles or Gerard Bentleys hairdressers, just next to The Swanky Bride. There is just so much to see in this village.
Trish, the owner of The Swanky Bride is passionate about what she has achieved over the years with her gorgeous brides and with her extensive knowledge and her vast experience felt an alternative venture was required.
Saddened and tired of mass produced Bridal gowns being made in China by British Designers although of good quality felt the flag should be flown for the British Designers still producing at home.
Couture gowns are very much in a resurgence with an increasing number of Brides looking for handmade personally fitted creations to ensure the perfect look.
Achieving the complete look for your Special day must be a priority, that is why when you become a Swanky Bride you are tapping into their expert eye for detail and the ability to deliver items to such exacting standards.
We are so very Proud to be able to offer this exclusive service and want to shout it from the rooftops that everything we have to offer our Brides is BRITISH MADE !
