Sassi has been designing and creating wedding dresses for more than 35 years (in fact my own dress in 2000 was designed and made by Sassi!). Each Sassi Holford gown is handmade in England by her first-class team of talented cutters, seamstresses and hand-beaders. It’s Sassi’s design ethos to enhance the female shape whilst emphasising the brides’s own personality allowing the bride to feel at her most beautiful.
Her style is all about accentuating the female form. Brides should b e true to themselves on their big day, not try to be someone they aren’t. Sassi loves enhancing the female figure and highlighting their best features. Her designs are classic and timeless, something important when looking back on wedding photos in years to come.

Designing is our passion and our inspirations are widespread: the subtle palette of the Impressionists, vintage fashion plates, silver screen movie stars and theatrical design not to mention our mothers who introduced us to the sewing machine. We love understated glamour and like nothing more than a well cut dress with clean lines and romantic detailing. For us everything is in the detail.
We remain as passionately committed to quality design as we always have been which is unmistakable in our exciting first Louise Bentley collection.
The Augusta Jones brand has carved a niche designing timeless and classic wedding dresses. Their aim is to satisfy three basic requirements; beautiful styling; flexibility of the range to suit a variety of shapes; and a way to personalise a wedding gown. Everything a bride could wish for in a niche luxury brand.
Brides can style every aspect of their wedding outfit with Augusta Jones’ range of shrugs, belts and veils. Each gown is bespoke which means that brides can work with us to change details of the gown to customise the look to best suit their shape and cater precisely to their individual sense of style. Changes to necklines, a selection of fabrics, adding buttons or changing sleeve lengths are just some of the available optons. With a gorgeous range of fabrics, embroideries and in-house beadwork to choose from, there are no shortage of ideas for our brides.
